FLEXIM name change reflects
growing presence in North America

FLEXIM's sales volume and engineering activities grew at such a rapid rate in the last years that the company structure in North America needed adaptation to allow unimpeded future development: from now on FLEXIM Instruments is FLEXIM AMERICAS corporation.

FLEXIM Instruments LLC was formed in 2005 in California. The corporation was meant to sell and service FLEXIM's instruments in the US and possibly in Canada and Mexico.

This careful first step into the North American market was accompanied in 2006 by the formation of FLEXIM Labs Inc. in NY. The initial purpose of this R&D company was the "Americanization" of our products. A laboratory for traceable flow calibration was opened at the company's new North American operations center in New York, allowing wet flow calibrations and verifications for North American customers as well as research for new products.

Developments since then have far exceeded our expectations: FLEXIM Labs Inc is now fully engaged in product development - and this not only for the American market. And FLEXIM Instruments LLC morphed into a full marketing, sales and service company not only for FLEXIM's flow measuring instruments but for all other products as well and covering the entire continent of North America.

In order to reflect these realities we have combined both companies into FLEXIM AMERICAS Corporation.
