FLEXIM opens office in Shanghai

After founding FLEXIM Instruments Asia Pte Ltd in May 2006, FLEXIM now opens an office in Shanghai. The reliability of FLEXIM's ultrasonic flowmeter FLUXUS is appreciated in Asia. With the opening of the Shanghai office, FLEXIM will be nearer to its Asian customers.

The growing markets of Asia are still at the beginning of their development. Modern instrumentation is needed for booming branches such as the chemical, petrochemical industry, oil and gas industry. The steel industry, refineries, energy and water supply still offer huge growth potentials. Gigantic industry parks such as the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park are developing, in which companies such as Bayer, BASF, BP and Degussa have settled down for production. FLEXIM wants to offer its customers in Asia the same quality and the same service as on the European and North American market.

Mr. Yi Liu has been appointed Managing Director for China. He brings many years of experience in the domain of ultrasonic flow measurement, amongst others as Country Manager for Panametrics China. Managing Director of FLEXIM Instruments Asia Pte Ltd is Mr. Claus Weihermüller. As Sales Manager Europe in the last years, Claus Weihermüller played a decisive role in developing FLEXIM's European Sales Network.
